What a week! Westminster is up to so much good. We celebrated Mission with Revive 66 Campground on Sunday, hosted our neighborhoods on Tuesday and welcomed our Afghan family every day. I found this prayer:
Once again I bring before you o God,
the needs of migrants and refugees;
those who have had to flee home and homeland
because of war and persecution,
poverty and violence.
As you hear their cries for mercy,
please strengthen us and all those
who are even now reaching out
with compassion and competence
to assist them in their hour of need.
In this way, may all come to know that the earth is still full
of your goodness and mercy.
