Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for a traditional worship service. Westminster is a community of believers who seek to affirm and love all humans. We are an open minded group and believe each person is on a spiritual journey, yearning for a connection to the divine. We believe that small changes can make a big difference, as we seek to serve our community and minister to those in need. We believe in supporting families as they grow within the warm environment of the church family​.

Friday, August 21 | Homegrown Hospitality
Homegrown Hospitality for August will be at the home of Wendy Downing and John Goodwin. Come help them break in their new pool before and after dinner. Bring a dish and a lawn chair (and a towel if you plan on swimming)! We will plan to eat around 6pm. Hope to see you there!

9:30 am | Breakfast
Join us for a special morning as we celebrate the start of a new school year. We'll gather for a delicious Breakfast Fellowship at 9:30am, followed by worship at 10:30am. During Children's Time Pastor Micki will offer a special Blessing of the Backpacks. Children of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks, school bags, or book bags to church as we pray for a safe, successful, and faith filled school year. Mission for July | Rare Breed
Hello Westminster! Summer is here. Remember our summers as children? If our parents worked, summer could hold different fun opportunities to keep us busy until school began. Or a vacation with the family may have been.
This is not the case for the youth we are focusing on for the July Mission Outreach. We want to help the youth served by the Rare Breed. This daytime drop-in center is located at 301 North Main in Springfield. It provides immediate access to basic needs, and rapid access to community services for homeless, and at-risk youth ages 13-24. These young people are trying to survive life one day at a time.
Emily Fessler is the Director of Compliance and Programs for The Kitchen, Inc. She will be speaking to the congregation Sunday, June 28, 2026, about Rare Breed and how our congregation can help.
Summer provides an exceptional need for specific items such as tarps and bug spray. These go fast. When it rains, things get ruined. Summer always comes with insects, and the heat makes the pest situation worse. Diapers and wipes are also needed due to a large number of youth having children of their own.
Please consider bringing something to help the youth. Thank you!

Mission for August | School Supplies for Delaware Elementary
As children prepare to return to school, many families need a little extra help providing the supplies their students need to succeed. We invite you to join us in sharing in God's love by donating new school supplies. Such as, crayons, colored pencils, folders with pockets, pencils, spiral notebooks, etc. Donations may be placed in the collection area throughout August. Thank you for helping support the students and teachers of Delaware Elementary as they begin a new school year!
